Cornell faced an unexpected eviction, leaving him with no support, no place to call home, and nowhere to turn. Within 12 hours of his eviction, Cornell had a new home at Shepherd's Heart Veteran's Home. Cornell says, "When I entered the doors of Shepherd’s Heart, I felt like I could breathe again. There were opportunities, a safe place, a feeling of well being, that I was okay.”
