Alleluia! Jesus Christ is Risen! He has risen indeed! Shepherd's Heart Fellowship celebrated Easter with a worship service, followed by a meal, at its church at 13 Pride St. in Pittsburgh, near UPMC Mercy Hospital. The Rev. James Morehead presided. The lovely Easter meal was donated by John Marshall Catering and Nancy Lee Cochran. Volunteers, including Veteran participants at Shepherd's Heart Veteran's Home, helped serve the meal. We give praise to God for all things.

Next Monday April 14th, @semperfimission is hosting free haircuts and food for Veterans and those in need at First Presbyterian Church (320 Oliver Avenue). This is a great opportunity to get involved with this wonderful ministry!

March 29 is America's official recognition date for the end of the Vietnam War. Ray Webb and Nancy Lee Cochran represented Shepherd's Heart Fellowship at the celebration at Heinz History Center, organized by the Veteran's Breakfast Club. Many of our Veteran friends were present. Those who served in Vietnam, or in the Vietnam era, received swag bags, pins, and applause to honor their participation. Seen here are a photo with Tony Accamondo and Nancy, a photo of Ray Webb, as well as one with the Mayor of Pittsburgh, Ed Gainey. Many leaders of Pittsburgh were there to honor all those who served. SHF would like to send a special congratulations and thank you to all our military friends who sacrificed so much so that we might have freedom in America. We are grateful!
